Visit to Patna – Capital of Bihar

Patna is the capital of Bihar. Its old name is Patliputra. Patna is divided into two parts old Patna which is Patna City and New patna which is Patna Town. Patna city is in east side of new patna and both are Southern bank of Ganga River. Patna is a small town about 25 KM long and 10 KM wide. By the history it was started by Ajatashatru, the King of Magadh in 490 BC.

How to reach: Now Patna is a developed town and it has own Airport and Railway Junctions. You can choose any to come Patna.

Visiting Place in Patna: There are some historical place and some new place to visit here in Patna –

Hanuman Mandir – it is near railway junction.

Kumhrar – Now it is like a museum and here are the ruins of Ashoka King.

Mahatma Gandhi Setu – The Bridge is one of the longest bridges in the world for Single River. It connects Hazipur and Patna.

Gandhi Maidan – Most famous in Patna for big open ground

Sanjay Gandhi Jaiik Udyan – it is Zoological and Botanical garden

Kargil Chowk – it is newly built for solder to salute them in the memory of Kargil Jawan. It is near Gandhi Maidan.

Patna is basically for student of Bihar who are preparing and studying in Patna. It is study center also.

Mainly, here you can visit Biscoman Tower, Murya Hotel, Stediam and Planetarium. The town has more density because it is small and here for traveling you can auto rickshaw.

However, it is well town to visit as a tourist because here is most of the things to see and learn.
